Tokyo Neighbourhoods

Client: The New York Times (2019)

A series of map illustrations for a large feature in The New York Times. The article portrayed 3 separate neighbourhoods in Tokyo, each one highlighting some of the most iconic landmarks and tourist destinations.

Although the majority of the landmarks were already provided in the brief, I absolutely loved working on these illustrations as it allowed me the freedom to explore and discover areas of the city myself, and was very much a collaborative project. Here’s a link to the article.
